The ceremony is one of the most stressful parts of a wedding, so be prepared.
There are lots of key moments throughout a wedding day, but few are as stressful as shooting the ceremony. You have a ton of shots to get and you don’t get a second chance to capture any of them. This video from photographer Christine Chang does a great job laying out a plan for you and a second shooter to capture the action.
She makes some really great points, including why it’s important to have two camera bodies and how to utilize each one with a different lens. It’s also crucial to get the best shots without ruining the entire ceremony for the audience by getting in their way or being really distracting.
Have any of you wedding shooters out there had any nightmare scenarios play out during a ceremony? We want to hear about them in the comments.
